1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how EquiOffer LLC d/b/a Get the Best Offer Guaranteed (“GTBOG”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects information about visitors, account holders, and customers (collectively, “Users”) of the Site, our course portal(s), and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
2. Information Collection and Use
We may collect personal information, such as your name, email address, phone number, billing address, and payment details, when you register, enroll in a course, or make a purchase on our Site.
3. Sources of Information
We collect information directly from you, automatically via cookies/SDKs, and from service providers (e.g., payment, email, analytics, hosting), referral or affiliate partners, and publicly available sources.
4. Cookies and Tracking
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. GTBOG uses cookies on the Site.
GTBOG may use both “session ID cookies” and “persistent cookies.” GTBOG uses session cookies to make it easier for you to navigate the Site. A session ID cookie expires when you close your browser. GTBOG may also set a persistent cookie to store certain information. The persistent cookie also enables GTBOG to track and target users' interests to enhance the experience on the Site.
Your web browser allows you to control and limit cookies on your computer. If you reject cookies, you may still use the Site, but your ability to use some areas or functions of the Site may be limited.
5. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to provide, personalize, and improve the Services; to process orders and payments and deliver support; to authenticate users, secure the Services, and prevent fraud and abuse; to communicate with you about your account, updates, features, and promotional messages (you may opt out of marketing emails at any time); and to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our agreements.
6. Sharing of Information
We share information with: (i) service providers (hosting/course platforms, cloud storage, analytics, payment processors, email/SMS providers); (ii) affiliates and business partners (for integrated offerings and referrals); (iii) authorities or third parties when required by law or to protect rights; and (iv) in corporate transactions (merger, sale, financing). We do not allow service providers to use personal data for their own marketing without your consent.
7. Payments
Payments are processed by third-party processors; we do not store full card numbers. The processor’s terms and privacy policy apply. Chargebacks may lead to suspension or termination under Part C.
8. Retention
We retain personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described or as required by law (e.g., tax, accounting, compliance) and then delete or anonymize it.
9. Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No online system is perfectly secure; transmission is at your own risk.
10. Your Choices
You may opt out of marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe links included in those messages; you can manage cookies through our cookie banner (where provided) or your browser settings, understanding that some features may not function without certain cookies; and if you do not want your voice, image, or likeness used in marketing materials, please follow the opt-out process described in Part C (Recordings; Consent; Opt-Out).
11. U.S. State Privacy Rights (including California)
Residents of certain U.S. states (e.g., CA, CO, CT, VA, UT) may have rights to access, delete, correct, or opt out of certain processing (including “sale”/“sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising). We do not sell personal information for money. To exercise rights, email [email protected] with “Privacy Request” in the subject and specify your state. We will verify your request and respond within the statutory period.
Right to Appeal.
If we deny your privacy request, you may appeal our decision by emailing [email protected] with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject line and a brief explanation of why you believe the decision was in error. We will review and respond to your appeal within the time period required by applicable law and will explain our decision. Where required, we will also inform you how you can contact your state attorney general if you have concerns about the result of your appeal.
12. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 16. If we discover personal information from a child under the age of 16, we will promptly delete it.
13. International Users
If you access from outside the U.S., you consent to processing in the United States and elsewhere where our service providers operate. We apply appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers as required by law.
14. Business or Asset Transfer or Sale
GTBOG may be sold, or might sell or buy businesses or assets of businesses, or GTBOG might merge with another business. In such transactions, customer information is generally one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the event that GTBOG, a line of business of GTBOG, or substantially all the assets of GTBOG are transferred, customer information may well be one of the transferred assets. GTBOG will make reasonable efforts to provide notice on the Site and to notify you via email to the most recent email address that you have provided to GTBOG of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.
15. Release of Information for Legal Reasons
GTBOG may release information concerning your use of GTBOG (including, but not limited to, posted Public Content, registration information, and network records) when it believes in good faith that such release is appropriate to comply with the law (for example, pursuant to a statutory demand, subpoena, warrant or court order), to protect against fraudulent, abusive or unlawful use of the GTBOG, to protect GTBOG's rights or property, enforce any contract between you and GTBOG, or if GTBOG reasonably believes that a situation involving danger of death or injury to any person requires disclosure.
16. Links
This Site may contain links to other sites. GTBOG is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. GTBOG encourages users to be aware when they leave the Site and to read the privacy statements of sites that collect personally identifiable information.
